Stephens seems to be making more plays than JC if you believe the media. I wonder if Stephens might snatch the job from Crompton when all is said and done?

Me too. Just reading this article says that JC had another good day building on his strong scrimmage performance Saturday.

The most telling statement I've read is where Orgeron allowed that the team was going to play for Kiffin. We've seen the evidence since the first of the year. Lots of motivation and a team attitude. We might not win every game but I honestly feel that the Tennessee football team will give it everything they have. No one is going to like to play them this year

that's the quote that stuck out for me too.

I think Crompton is a week or two away from nailing down the starting job. He has been the more consistent of the two so far and continues to improve while working with the #1 offense.
