yeah, i think i'm with you on that. the only "big" game he played in in the SEC was that last game against LSU for the right to go to the SEC title game, and they lost.
i'll be very surprised if the giants can go to Lambeau next week and pull off the upset.
Hate to say it but I told you so to all you haters, the fact is Eli has always been a good quaterback, he just hasn't had the talent surrounding him that big brother Peyton has and Peyton's not there this year because he was without some of that talent. I've always been a big Vols fan, but I've also always believed that Peyton is one of the most overated quarterbacks ever.
When he won the Super Bowl and the MVP he had a touchdown pass to Reggie Wayne, I could have threw, there was nobody within 25 yards of Wayne. Peyton is sitting at home on the couch because he was without Marvin Harrison. If you took Harrison, Wayne, and Dallas Clark away from the Colts offense Peyton would be an average NFL Quarterback.
:salute:A) That's idiotic thinking. Would Wayne, Harrison, and Clark be average without Peyton? Probably. Peyton isn't a QB who just "puts it up there and lets them get it." His throws are on point more than anybody (Brady and Manning are exceptional precision QBs).
B) If you took Rice and Taylor away from Montana ...
C) Peyton is sitting at home on the couch because a Pro Bowl WR tipped a pass, a 2nd string RB couldn't catch a screen, and his defense choked. He played better than anybody on the Colts' roster that day. San Diego was just better.

Everybody wants to jump on the Peyton ban wagon, but he choked in every big game at Tennessee.
