A good leader should always have a list...always be prepared. When DD was fired they were putting together search committees, and think tanks, and coming back empty handed. They were putting feelers out and getting back NO THANK YOU's. So yeah, you should always have a list to see who is available. Not being prepared got us in this mess.

Dino Babers (Only if he would get a defensive coordinator)

would be my short list.

no joke. If I were him I'd want to say a heck of a lot more about the fans. he probably does, but knows it would get him fired :)

What can he say about the fans? 101k showed up Saturday when the weather was a complete mess for days leading up to and including the day of the game. I drove 3.5 hrs by myself in a driving rainstorm and set in my seats by myself because my wife had to work. The only thing he can and needs to say to the fans is "thank you". We criticize him yet continue to show up and support the team, university and indirectly him despite the results on the field. When you help pay his salary, as many fans do, you earn the right to *****; no different than a politician. Have you never complained about the President or Congress? If you've never held that position, I suggest you hold your tongue. Right?

Has he been asked why the team has got its a$$ kicked, on both sides of the ball, in the second half of the last three games? Seriously.

He called Williams and Vickers young when Harrington asked why Shy and KMac aren't paired with veterans.

Williams is 24 freaking years old and is a RS SR for goodness sakes!! Vickers is a 20 year old RS SO (obviously 3 yrs removed from HS). How much older can they be and who is buying that crap?!

here we are--things are tense, jones is stressed, all of the off-season optimism--which was overblown--is gone. We're going to get kicked around by bama again; we could easily lose the georgia game; kentucky is a tossup. I hate the idea of things getting ugly; I think it's counterproductive, but people are tired of losing--and then to lose three games the way we have makes it worse.

The Pig Howard concussion explanation was very evasive. Something fishy going on with Pig. He ended the media session at that point so no one could ask any follow up questions.

Took 3 years to run Fulmer off. Had a losing season in 2005 and another one in 2008. He had 2 losing seasons in 15 years, so forgive me if I don't believe you.
