Best bet is for the fan base to simmer down now so the rest of the country will have only Butch to laugh at. We really don't need anymore fights in the stands or mattress burnings in the street again to make us look even worse. I say let this play itself out and calm down. We all know that Butch is done after this year so let's have some class and just stay home on Saturdays and yell at our TV's for a few more weeks while doing keg stands to drown out the pain and frustration. It looks like Chuckey (Gruden) didn't want to come out to play this Halloween.

QD was ready to play, against Alabama. OL recruiting is paramount for this program -- individuals are gonna have an opp to come in here and compete and play early right away.

Can't believe he hasn't been fired yet... reinforces that this AD is more concerned with money than winning championships. Damn shame.

Winning brings more money. Look at Alabama's (the entire school) financials over Saban's tenure.

Except there's nothing he can really say that doesn't fall on him. If it is "an execution type thing," then why aren't the players executing? Everyone of them was recruited into the program by him. Everyone of them has been coached for their entire college career under his watch. Right, coach? So, WTH?

AD is more concerned with how his actions will be viewed by bean counters in 5 yrs. Fans are fickle and change like the wind. He's not going to react to that. He's not VFL. Like Jones, he's a mercenary, bought and paid for and he'll sell out for the right long term price.

How do you think that would turn out? What would be the topic? I know Buddy. Lives very close to me....there’s multiple personalities working there ....lol. I’m all ears but I will tell you this....you better play the game and bring it as a football player in terms of physical and punishing play and attitude. Yes say what you want about Second Chance U etc....but you better have your mouthpiece in and helmet buckled up when the whistle blows.
