A victory over GA State is not lofty expectations. Tennessee paid $950k and got clowned by a 10 year old football program. For this game it does not matter if it’s Pruitt’s recruits or Bozo the clown recruits, it’s one of the few games on your schedule that you must win.

Damn, show some emotion. Let people know you care. Let the players express their emotions. These are kids, get them fired up, not oh well there will be another game. Emotion and enthusiasm, jump up and down slap'em on the back, kick a trash can do something!

Doubt he is actually happy with any of the stuff that went on this past Saturday. Calm down see what Saturday brings. Because if we demolish BYU on Saturday all of you guys claiming that he needs to be fired are going to look really stupid.

This is actually a good look although I don't see if by miracle us destroying BYU-- a major offset for the georgia state game overall.

The sabotaging his career cuz he hates UT is beyond stupid that's not what is going on here. They simply didn't prepare to play Saturday and thought they could roll in there no gameplan and roatate as many players as possible. Should we have still won yes but we didn't. I expect different this Saturday

Actually that’s not true....I signed off when this hire was made. Said it then....you don’t beat Bama by hiring their retreads, especially if you’re Tennessee. Leach, Miles...they were gettable. This is a job, despite the lowered expectations of many, that should only be offered to successful head coaches.

I’m in no way calling for Pruitt to be canned. He won’t be, and it would be a bigger disaster if he were. We brought him to the dance and we gotta see this event through to the end.

Honestly? As I said in a prior thread, my GAF factor is approaching zero.

I am amused by the meltdown, and even more amused by the Reasonable Vol Fans doing their typical “trust the coach and our HOF AD” schtick. It’s a lot more entertaining than watching us line up incorrectly and get blown off the ball by guys we outweigh by 40lbs.

At the end of last season, the team came out unmotivated, and we got throttled by Missouri and Vanderbilt, 10 months later, we came out and got throttled by the bottom of the Sunbelt conference.

How many games do you need to watch in order to see that the trajectory of the program is on a downward path? 18, 24, 36?

Mine has been zero since Currie was hired.

I care about UT but I’m also numb to the fact this is where we are. But I’m also gonna be realistic and when it comes to judging Pruitt fairly that’s still a season away.

It’s not, the Georgia State game should not have happened but defensive formations didn’t cost us that game. I know everyone says that JG had 311 yds but look at the yards he maybe had two passes that went farther then 20yds the rest of those yds were YAC. He had two major turnovers because of his ineptitude. JG himself cost us that game.

Heck it was the 4th Quarter with over 2mins and 30secs left he had 6 seconds to throw a ball and gets sacked? Then throws a ball out of bounds on 4th and 3...... in the fourth quarter down 2 touchdowns!

A QB with that attitude doesn’t deserve to play. How can an offense follow a guy who doesn’t even have the will to win?

Yes defense was an issue. But the defense didn’t lose the game. The offense did.
