Momentum. UF had it, UT is bleeding it

I'm undecided. He has definitely not lived up to the hype.

The theory for last week was that he's not been practicing as much in spring, etc, due to injuries. Maybe. I dunno. Also could be Napier poor play calling. Or maybe Lagway is just average.

He's very talented. I can see him getting better throughout the year. But most people were acting like he was the next Tua or Bryce Young coming into the season. And there was just nothing to support that for me. Certainly nothing on film that would lead me to believe he was already one of the best QBs in college football.

With Florida's schedule, they probably won't reach 5 wins..20-20 record for Napier should have already put him in the unemployment line...But last season's ending win streak saved his azz...It ain't happening this time around...But no worries, Mike Gundy should be available by then 😁

Napier has done a good job of rallying the troops in the past so I am not totally ruling out Napier upsetting a team or 2 leading up to UGA. But Lagway is still making freshman mistakes (and he is a redshirt freshman so that tracks). And with their schedule, that isn't going to fly. Edit: Not a red shirt freshman and I knew that. Not sure what I was thinking when I typed that up.

I think they get dominated this week vs Miami. But I could see the Texas game being close since Arch has his own growing pains. .
A&M probably dominates UF on the road as well. That is 4 losses with MS St on deck and UGA right after. Fortunately for them, MS St is at home. It's a game they should honestly win if the players haven't checked out. UGA could be close since it's a rivalry, but I think UGA rolls again. If it's 5 losses or more after UGA, with a blow out loss to UGA, I think Napier gets the boot immediately after that game.

No he's not. He is a sophmore. He played in 12 games last year.

I think its a bit of all of the above.

I think one thing with the play calling is not just the X's and O's, but Napier doesn't seem to know how to properly use Lagaway. Hasn't found a strength in him yet. IMO that has a lot to do with the play calling being so bad. No development or change from either side.

Unless Napier is able to simplify the offense like they did on defense last year, I don't see Florida coming out of their shell.

Team is on the verge of imploding, if you ask me. If they lose a close one to Miami and people are at least seeing improvement, that's one thing. But a blow out loss and looking like we are again directionless would cause players to I think just back off the effort moving forward.

Canes are currently a 9 point favorite on most of the lines I have seen.

I think Lagway will be a very good college QB before he is done. I do honestly think that it would be understandable if he has a rough go of it this season considering that ridiculously brutal schedule you guys have, but he is very talented IMO.
