Moles on the UT Coaching Staff?

Is anyone actually suprised that Lane is going after these coaches? He hired the same coaches last year when he was hired as Tennessee's coach, and these are the kinds of people/coaches he wants running his program. When everyone heard Kiffen was coming hear, almost everyone listening, including myself, was thinking..??? Kiffen, well he'll bring a good staff. And thats what he did. And I'm sure when Garrett hired Kiffen, he was blinded by Kiffen's bobblehead, and his stellar staff. Kiffen, being as young as he is, he hasn't really had an opportunity to develope his own personal personality, so it is only natural that he is going with what he knows. Personally, I was hoping his plane would crash, <---shows my age--- :whistling: , but since that didn't happen the best I can hope for is 3+ yrs. of scholarship restrictions, and a life full of NCAA investigations and restrictions where ever Kiffen goes.
USC's future ...:pepper: :pepper: :pepper: :pepper:

WMG was integral to the recruiting of Hunter. He liked Knoxville and was inclined to stay. We just didn't match USC's offer.**

**Not claiming as gospel truth. My educated guess.

You appear to be right about Garza. It is my understanding (TOS) from those close to the program that Garza wanted to stay here, but was told by Coach Dooley that his retention would be completely up to the new DC, whoever that might be. Knowing that most Coordinators prefer to pick their own staff (as they should), he knew that his career here was hanging by a thin thread. Because of that, he would have to take any good offer he got, even one from kiffin.

From what I understand, Willie Mack was completely up front about his situation with recruits, telling them that he might not be here for long -- and that specifically included his recruitment of Hunter, with Dooley sitting there. He was honest and up front with all the recruits (as he should have been) and that is all we can ask. That is also why his leaving has not had a big effect on his recruits, including Hunter.

I also think that Coach Chaney and Coach Thompson are all Vol, and will coach our guys to the best of their considerable ability.

I don't see how the new DC will get to pick their staff considering Thompson and Joseph are both defensive coaches along with Garza. I guess that now means the DC might get to pick one coach.

I think that Garza is an upfront coach. Don't be suprised if he only last a year with X. Man with morals and integrity can not work with one that does not...X.

I think people need to quit this mole talk and be excited for what DD is doing,

That goes against what Hunter said in an interview after Garza left. A direct quote from Hunter said it caught him off guard and he said Garza had said nothing about leaving.

Thats funny because O left all of his UT stuff in his apt (clothes, luggage, notebooks, etc.) and my friend ended up with all of it including some defensive playbooks and scouting reports from the Georgia game... If only that material could help the PAC 10 schools....:D

Are you being serious? That would be awesome to have that stuff. Could tell us about some of that stuff?
