Interesting take. Assuming you've been "in the trenches" at the D-1 level and know what it feels like for your body to get routinely punished?
I know exactly what it’s like to be “in the trenches”, as you say. I watch numerous games, every Saturday, thank you very much!

Whoever it may be, Tn definitely needs a new S&C coach. Somebody that will make these guys a little tougher. Especially our lineman. Just because something hurts does not mean you lay on the field acting like a bone is sticking through your leg. This team had way to many actual injuries and even more ouchies that took a guy out for a bit.
Here, let me roll my eyes at you.

How many games did you watch this year or ever and see a lineman on the ground at least every other drive? Even on fgs and extra points! Besides TN games this year (and you cant count the ole miss flops), when did you see that many lineman down? Watch the top programs in the nation. They dont have those problems. I know that lineman take a beating every day, all in saying is that other programs dont seem to lay on the field as often.

It is pretty amazing that 4th.Quarters were not just complete laydowns by our D. Anybody w a scholly was pretty much on that field on D. S&C sure didn't look like our problem this yr.
Even though Moffitt is considered to be one of the best S & C guys in the business, depth was the key issue on both sides of the ball this season. The Kentucky game was a perfect example. The D was on the field for 99 plays, yet had enough in the tank to stop UK at a crucial time. More depth team-wide should lead to more improvement in the future.

It's almost as if we need a 60/40 ratio of defensive to offensive players. If I was a freshman coming in looking for early playing time, and surely this is a good opportunity, at least on defense.

There’s nothing wrong with the S&C. We don’t have an opening.

Replacing the strength and conditioning coach nearly every year for the past several years has paid enormous dividends for our program. Why change something that's been working so well? Send the S&C coach packing . . .

Why would we need him? I didn't see a lot of guys with hands on their knees on either side of the ball this year. When you consider our lack of depth, the pace our offense runs and the enormous amount of time the defense was on the field this year, I think our S&C staff did a helluva job. If it ain't broke....

And this again shows why I said in another thread: If our staff isn't broke, don't fix it.

Listening to Kelly attempt a southern accent is offensive and sickening. I already didn't like the guy based on his politics but combined with this it makes him an even bigger di#khead.
Not to make this political, but there’s a video from back when Bill Clinton was a Governor and Hillary Clinton is speaking with the the worst fake Southern accent I’ve ever heard. I always think of it when I hear someone trying to pretend to be southern.
