If by "fluid" you mean disastrous hit-boxes, unrealistic weapon damage, horrible spawns, and zero team play then yes, it's an absolutely fantastic game.

no by fluid i mean the flow of the multiplayer. it is not sluggish and slow like some. it has it's flaws like all games, but slow flow is not one and i think that is one of the most important.

No, I KNOW that COD has a solid game engine. I've tried the battlefield series, with it's sluggish screen tearing / terrible frame rate, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor, even Killzone when I had a PS3. I've tried others too, none feel as fluid as COD running 60fps.

if COD didn't have a good game engine then there's no way the series would have sold as many copies as it has. you're in the minority on this one.

It seems that more or less you like one or the other. I find Battlefield to be infinitely better, both graphically and in map variation, but that's just me.

Tactical cover and maneuver is more my style.
