Mock Draft Has Bray #1 in 2013

I love Tyler but wayyyyy to early for predictions of this magnitude. Does him no good, it only heightens the pressure on him. He first of all has to beef up that frame or NFL teams will not give him a high grade.

Tebow won it on a 9-4 team that didn't play for an SEC title.

Yeah but Tebows ridiculous amount of TDs skewed his stats. When other teams got inside 5 they occassionally passed for a td here and there and most of the time let the rbs and fbs do the dirty work. Meyer made sure Tebow got all the touches at the goalline.

WalterFootball.com: 2013 NFL Mock Draft

#1 Arizona Cardinals: Tyler Bray, QB, Tennessee
2012 NFL Mock Draft selection: Riley Reiff, OT

Again, this order is somewhat random. I'll let you decide what that means. But if the Cardinals are picking first in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Kevin Kolb/Kyle Orton trade obviously didn't pan out. In that case, Arizona would undoubtedly select Tyler Bray.

Bray was impressive as a freshman last year, compiling 18 touchdowns to 10 interceptions, as well as an 8.3 YPA.

There is no way that Arizona will be drafting first then. They will have a quarterback. They have no other option other than to get a quarterback before then.

I know this is all massive speculation on the site's part.....but I really don't think the Cardinals are going to go 2 more seasons without having figured out & settled on a starting QB

of course that's more NFL-talk

Me, either. He's no more prone to injury because of his weight than any other QB. If he gets hurt it won't be because of that. He's a football player that has been playing his sport since he was a skinny little kid and taking hits all that time. Now, he's a stronger skinny big kid.

Like you (or, someone) said earlier, he may be the type of person that can't put on weight. If he needs strength anywhere, IMO, he needs to work his legs. That helps everything else.

I hope you're right, wanna believe you're right. My fear is that from what I see of defense players' behavior these days, hey try to hurt you on purpose as opposed to just stopping you. If you look at what Lawrence Taylor did with his body when he broke Joe Theisman's leg and also look at what our player in the old Syracuse game during our NCS year, you will see what I mean. I'll bet you will see a number of players doing this in various games, it's obviously intentional. Hopefully TB's elusiveness in the pocket prevent this happening to him.

It's way too early to really have a good idea who will go number 1, but he may well be the best pro prospect at quarterback in his class.

How about he gets over 210 lbs? They say that's a lie too and that he's still not that much

Apparently the Ravens don't exist in 2013. I guess the Mayans spared everyone except Baltimore.

of course its crazy early for a mock draft, but what else is there to discuss right now?

Theismann got his leg broken because he was too skinny? I think that's two different things. Bray's body is probably not gonna change much until he is older and he marries a good cook and has three little Brays.
He didn't start getting hit by defensive lineman and linebackers last year. He's been hit plenty in his football career. LUCK is the biggest factor in determining injuries, not weight.

barring injury lattimore will be gone junior year for the simple fact he would go first round if not first pick that year.. kind of dumb to risk injury with another year of college ball when you can risk injury with money in the bank.

You don't take a RB with the #1 pick.
