You're not alone. I think a lot of folks see the Pinkel thing as kind of a wildcard.
If UT doesn't turn the ball over then they should win by about what the line suggests. UT has the better special teams and offense. Don't help Mizzou out (turnovers, special teams or defensive tds) and they should win. Mizzou will play with emotion, but if UT gets them down then they need to step on their throat. Mizzou's offense isn't built to come from behind. It's atrocious.
Yes it would. I fully expect their D to look like the '85 Bears and for the light to come on for freshman QB Lock so that he immediately puts himself in the early discussions for the 2016 Heisman race. Yes......I, like you, continue to suffer from Battered Vol Syndrome.
KB there hasn't been a "safe space" for Vol fans in a long time. I also fear the worst for this game.
Hope the Vols put those fears to rest Saturday!
Here's an article by the local Mizzu beat writer analyzing Saturday's game I thought I'd share with VN.
Also, I thought it was interesting that he hints at a possible upset.

Plus, here is a commentator discussing the betting odds that not only picks Mizzu to cover but to get the outright upset...
