Picked this up yesterday after reading some good stuff about it. I started playing about 11:45pm and next thing I know it's 3:00am. This was after 2 or 3 hours playing in the afternoon, too.

Road to the Show is cool. I haven't played 'The Show' before so it might be the same as last year. I'm a starting pitcher. After going 1-5 w. 10.xx ERA, I was sent to AA B'ton to start working on my stuff.

Got a releif appearence the 8th last night. 2 out runners on the corners. Struck him out to end the inning. Got a starting role after that. I'm now 1-0 in AA with a 4.xx era and 20+ innings pitched. Starting to get better now that I'm training and stuff.

Great fun from a baseball game. The story and created player really adds to the game. I don't think I would have bought it otherwise.

I was also kind of excited. It's the first PS3 game I've wanted to buy since launch day last November. I now have 2 games....weeeee.....

Yeah, I would imagine they are pretty similar. Good stuff. Wish I had bought it last year.

It is different than last year. You controled the entire team last year, unlike this year where you only control yourself.

After putting in about 10 more hours this weekend and tonight, I still think this game is great. I was 10-1 late into the year in AA. Got called up to AAA to help them win down the stretch (2 games out right now). I started recognizing names at this point (Milledge was out in right; Sosa and Perez in the rotation with me). This game rocks.

PS2 version on sale for $29.xx this week at Target.
