Sup VN,
NOOB ALERT, NOOB ALERT.:mf_surrender: :worship:
epper::yikes:
I have been playing MLB the show games for quite some time now, I got the 08 game a few years back and just upgraded to 11 this christmas.
I have always been pretty bad at MLB games, and I can't understand why.
I play on the lowest difficulty and usually change the sliders to make it even easier to hit. Yet I still loose most games 2-1 for instance.
Just wondered if you could give me some tips on these issues I have that would make me more competitive in games.
1. I always find it hard to know when to check swing, I usually end up swinging 90% of the time because I find it hard to tell if to swing or not. What do you do? Decide if you are going to swing before the pitch?
2. I find it hard to know if to aim where to swing or not. I sometimes find that if I don't aim at all i can hit the ball more but it's hard to tell. How do you usually do it? Do you guys aim according to where the pitcher has pitched before or do you just aim randomly and hope?
3. Guessing pitches, I usually try to guess each pitch, but I find that if I get it right, I swing, and more often than not the pitch is out of the strike zone. What strategy to you use to guess pitches? Try and follow a pattern or for instance just always guess a fastball for pitch one and a slider for 2 and so on?
What you may have noticed, is that I am pretty bad at each aspect of batting... I just find hitting so hard, I rarely get hits and home runs are few and far between.
I would be gratefull if you guys could give me some pointers.
Cheers,
Stephen
