MLB The Show 17 (PS4 03/28/17)

I'm sitting on about 65k stubs, might just go stupid on packs. Working on missions keeps me entertained than a super team would, I always found that once I had a super stacked NHL squad I lost interest rather quickly.

playing RTTS with player based on Junior. over 50 at bats so far and not even close to sniffing a dinger yet. Junior was not a singles hitter. created a player from scratch prior to that and hit a few early and often.

Perfecto for Felix on All Star. I'm ashamed at how satisfied I am.

Too bad The Show doesn't do the $1 million perfect game challenge like 2k did once. I still don't think I've ever been able to throw a perfect game

Me either, it gets rough when you're out of gas, I seem to always walk or bean someone and it falls apart fast.

I think 2k's challenge existed because nobody would buy that **** otherwise.

I rented one for 360, played 10 minutes then scratched the disk so I could get a refund.

What pitching settings do y'all use? On the older versions I used to go analog stick but it was pretty easy to shut teams down. The classic setting seems to leave too many pitches over the plate

I went Pure analong since online every F-up will get mashed using meter. I find with analong it's easier to get it out of the zone if you miss your first mark.

Classic with no ball marker and no strike zone. I only use this with franchise as it goes by pitcher ratings more than my stick skills. In DD, I use analog

Every now an then I'll turn the strike zone off when I'm struggling, seems to help get refocused.

To be fair, in franchise I also auto field, no throw meter, and auto run. Game just seems to play better according to player ratings for me. If I have the strike zone up there with analog, I can normally come close to pitching a no no on HoF lol
