The presentation of this game is amazing. Solid commentary. Great graphics.

The highlight of this so far is finishing a game with the braves and hearing the announcer tell the crowd about getting back home on Marta. Fantastic attention to detail.

Any tips with this game?

I'm a novice when it comes to baseball, does anyone have a link to a guide to where I can find out what H/9, K/9, BB9, and basically every other attribute in the game means and how it relates to the gameplay.

Basically H/9 counteracts the opponents contact, hr/9 power, bb/9 vision, k/9 disciplin in determining the result of an AB. Naturally these are most important in simmed games.

Basically they're variables which combine with swing timing, location, and so on.

One odd glitch is that a bunt foul 3rd strike doesn't always result in the end of the at bat. Like the announcers say he's done after striking out on a bunt foul, but the at bat continues.

Im still pissed about batting the ball and hitting the pitcher and he picks it up and throws me out every single time. When it happens the other way around the ball bounces too far from me to get it in time.

and also that you can hear the *thud*, but see no blood and the pitcher just carries on with his merry way

like dude...I just hit you in the face with a baseball with an exit velocity around 105mph. GO DOWN

I def need to study up on this. I know nothing about baseball.

At least in Madden when I lose it's because there was something I couldn't stop. In this I'll position Mike Trout under a routine fly ball, he will miss it, get hit in the head, and get concussed. My third baseman will pull the ball out of his glove and look at it prior to throwing it. My catcher will have 4 seamers bounce off his glove, get to the ball, and go into a stand animation which allows two runs to score.

When on The Show, I feel like the game is playing me instead of me playing the game. I've just soured on it.

I can't hit with Rizzo anymore, think his average has dropped 40 points in a week. Starting tonight I'm going to platoon him with the flashback Billy Butler
