Rod Carew was the guy's username on the forums dude! He was a big fan of him so he used his name on the OS forums as his username. I explained that when I said his username in my previous post. Now, who's the troll? :p

Hey guyzzz I just remembered my favorite all time player is Rod Carew. We should talk about it. I heard some jokester was using his name in vain over at operation sports.

You'll think I'm kidding/pulling your leg about this Rod Carew thing. Go over to Operations Sports & register if you're not already a member. Go to the search option.

Type in "Rod Carew" in the search box. He will show up if you've chosen to show threads/post since OS existence. This guy used to help me with my CAPS for MLB The Show on PS2 a few years back. He was really good with CAPS. Like I said, he just disappeared.

You'll acted like I was trying to say this was the real-life Rod Carew when in my 1st post about this I said it was a username used by a member & his favorite all-time player was Rod Carew so he used his name when he registered. I don't know what happened to the guy though. Disappeared just like that.

I hope he hasn't passed away or anything like that because he was a relatively young guy in 2010 around mid-30's back then.

Wth are you talking about? Rod Carew has to be at least 70, he retired in the mid 80's. Stop pretending that you're friends with famous baseball players. I know Ten Percent Charlie from the carpet store ads and got his autograph in real life, not on some "sports web sight" full of supposed baseball legends who make "rosters" for video games that already come with perfectly good ones.
