So who are we expecting to start at MLB? Can AJ Johnson come in and start right away? Who's seen him? This will be a pivotal position for us next year. It's hard to do anything in this league without a solid man in the middle.

I think Herman Lathers might move over. He's the only returning starter. The other 2 returning back-ups, Vereen and Austin Johnson at the other 2 LB spots. There is a 4 star LB coming in, AJ Johnson will compete for a starting spot.

If Loften gets in...I'd still rather run a 4-2-5 most of the time with Loften, Brewer, and Jackson back there.

Go ahead...berate me.

Propst or Johnson.

Lathers will start. King, Crump, and Vereen will compete for the other spot.

I don't think we will have a freshman LB starter, especially in the middle. Just won't be physically ready. I would suspect Austin Johnson or Lathers will start at MLB.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jacques Smith move to MLB. I think this staff wants to move to a bigger, taller man in the middle.

Austin Johnson or Crump. I think Johnson wins it though. I could be way off, but he reminds me a lot of Nick Reviez.

I'm not seeing how you think Jerod Mayo belongs with the rest of this group. The first 3 were highly rated with potential not realized in on-field production for us (at least not yet with Askew). Mayo was a starter for us multiple yrs and last week was leading the NFL in tackles. Thus my puzzled, ????

You put AJ in a category with a bunch of busts before he steps on campus, and dude countered with or he could be a beast. Pretty simple.
