ESPN, MLB reach new 3-year media rights deal
ESPN and Major League Baseball have a reworked deal that includes out-of-market streaming rights.
ESPN loses Sunday Night Baseball but will still show 30 games a season and will offer MLB.TV through their streaming service; though I don't know if that means an extra charge like it used to or if it's part of the package. They reference NHL's streaming service but that's included with the current ESPN Ultimate subscription.
SNB will move to NBC/Peacock but I wonder what that means for September when NFL starts. I'm guessing SNB for the last month will just be offered on Peacock because there's no way SNF gets bumped for it.
Netflix gets the Home Run Derby and a few other games.
