If people who buy lots of games would wait a week after release instead of day 1, there would be much higher quality. The hype build up sells enough copies to break even, and then the develops scatter like cockroaches.
This year I'm thinking I'll be playing The Show, NCAA, and Battlefield, maybe NHL. Proven franchises. The gaming world has such a bad case of premature ejaculation about the next new thing, and more often than not on consoles, it sucks.
I mean, being able to wear different colored shoes or write stupid **** on your helmet is neat, but I think they have pretty much pushed their limits as far as making an actual improved game goes.
