I have no idea how to be patient in this game. 90% of pitches look the same.
How long you been playing? This game takes practice and patience especially if you're fairly new to the series. What I do is, is look for the high fastballs. Time those right with a good hitter and good things happen
I don't know enough about sliders to change them at all. I guess I figured their set the default way for a reason. If there is truly a better was for them why isn't that the default way?
My hitting difficulty is All-Star.
Why do the sliders need to be changed? To make it easier? Why not just changed the difficulty? Is the sliders you just linked are truly more "realistic" why wouldn't the game have them as the default setting?

THe sliders do not make it easier, it gives you a more realistic experience. Such as better hit varieties (liners, grounders, pop ups) and more realistic stats. Look at the default rosters, they are not correct. So why would the game makers not have them right. He is just trying to help you out to make the game better.

While a change to the overall difficulty will certainly impact your experience with the game, tweaking the sliders allows you to customize the experience at a more granular level. For instance, if you think the fielders cover a little too much ground, tweaking the sliders will allow you to change the overall speed rather than editing it on an individual player basis.
Sliders don't need to be tweaked, but as kwebbvols stated, they can be used in conjunction with the overall difficulty setting to tailor the game to the best and most realistic experience for you personally.
I understand the idea and I appreciate the help. My apologies if I was coming off as not somehow.
Rosters are different because they are what they are. Sliders are totally different however.
For the bold, I guess my question would be how would anyone outside of the developers have any qualification to come to this conclusion?
