Started a new franchise with downloaded rosters. Simmed the whole first season. Picked vic martinez up from FA and called will myers up from aa ball to start. Ended up with 100 wins got put out in alds. Offseason kicked my ass. I didnt add my 120 mil to this franchise and didnt have much to spare. Lost hellickson, mcgee, cobb, yunel, and zobrist Elliot johnson is now my starting ss and mike futenot is my 2b. Gonna be doin alot of trading

Anyone have some pitching tips? I'm playing on All Star just beat the Nats 8-7 but giving up 7 runs is far too many. Seems like if I throw a strike they hit it and if I throw a ball they never swing. Ever.

Do you use hot/cold zones? If not you should because in real life I can guarantee you pitchers no the hot and cold zones of every hitter in the lineup.

I dunno but i noticed on pulse pitching if you release a perfect pitch it sometimes goes way off. I figured out that if you release the left joystick instead of holding it in the location, and then move it around then place it back to pitch location its dead on

Yeah I do but Adam Leroche hit 2 HR's off me off pitches in his cold zone from Tim Hudson

Definitely use hot/cold zones. I use pulse pitching and sometimes when I time it perfectly, it throws the ball erractically. Frustrating.

I use analog. Just makes it more realistic IMO
