MLB 13 The Show

I can't hit the ball with Mcann on this game. He fails me Everytime I have runners in scoring position

I had the same problem but you remember that McCann had that eye problem right? I think The Show producers forgot about it and therefore he is not wearing his glasses in the default roster. I edited him and put glasses on him and now he's raking and up for league MVP.

:hi:

Lmao it all makes sense now. I'm considering trading him but I don't want to. Beating the cubs 9-0 now too of the 7th. They had Jeff Samardzija starting but they pulled him in the 2nd bc I scored 8 runs on that Inning alone

Trading Mchann at the deadline actually wouldnt be a bad move. He's in the last year of his deal and you could probably get very good value out of him.

We need one more for our season. You want in? Saw you wanted the reds but you never let me know for sure

I would aim for a top 50 prospect at Catcher and a really good 3B.

You may even be able to snag a free agent Catcher in the meantime if you do that deal.

That's a good idea. I threw Brian on the trade block just to see what offers I get. Assuming the trade logic isn't incredibly flawed

Beat the marlins 11-4. Hit 5 home runs 2 with Uggla. I'm playing on veteran may bump up the difficulty it's just ironic bc yesterday the cubs beat me twice once 9-0

Maybe you can get that stud Arencibia...

Good=stud. Gotcha. You wanna know what makes arencibia good? When you have a good young pitching staff in the majors and farm, plus a 38 yr old catcher who has been a back up most of his career. If you wouldnt trade a 25 year old top 50 prospect with 10 guys ahead of him for a equivilent aged catcher who has two seasons as a starter than i dunno what to tell you. Dont give me a chance to argue. :)

Haha. Just ribbing you a bit. Well done. :hi:

He traded Uggla and Medlin for Robbie Cano and Nova.

I made the trade right at the deadline. Yankees were 18 games out of a playoff spot and wee shopping Cano. He was also in a contract year. Have been trying to duplicate it by starting another franchise and waiting til the same date to pull off the trade. Yankees were only a couple games out of first in the East and would not take the trade even though I tried to add a A potential 70 rated prospect. Trade logic seems to work pretty well imo

That's good.

Going to work soon, but when I get off I'm facing off against Stephen Strasburg. It's on All Star difficulty now, how difficult of a matchup is he?
