MLB 13 The Show

Picked this game up on Sunday. Immediately start RTTS as a RF and was drafted by the Orioles. In my first 40 games or so I was hitting like .525 with 19HR, and almost 60 RBIS. Hitting difficulty is on veteran. However, I somehow fractured my shin and placed on the 60day DL. When I finally came off I played about a week and then somehow damaged ligaments in my right knee. 60 day DL again. Upon coming off I was promoted as a Triple-A starter but only started 1-2 games a week. Now 4 games into season 2 and in Triple-A. Still mashing but not nearly like I was in Double-A.

The game itself is pretty good but I think the fielding, especially in the OF is very hard to get used too. The arrows help quite a bit but sometimes I run towards the arrow and then it turns green but the ball lands just in front or behind me...guess I'll just need to get used to it...

Mighttttttttttttttttttttttttt be renting this again today. We'll see.

Lost my first franchise game yesterday ironically to the Cubs. Lost 9-0 they were destroying Minor. So I'm 3-1 now. Gonna have to unleash Medlen on the cubs it looks like

I pitched with Medlen last night, great pitcher. He went 8.1 innings with 2 hits given up and 10k's. Out of all the pitchers I have used, he is my favorite.

Run toward the arrow until it disappears completely, not just turns green. That took me a while to get used to as well.

Medlen is great. I shut out the Phillies and gave up 2 or 3 hits. Craig Kimbrel comes in to close and never fails

Put more points into your durability and that will help you not be a DL queen

Kenley Jansen is an absolute beast in this game...................Whenever I start my (real) franchise, he is the first I will trade just about anyone for.

I took a no hitter to the 9th in my franchise with Medlen. First pitch of the inning Ryan Howard breaks it up...

Pitch count got me. He had tossed 112 pitches.

The thing I love about the Show is that it's like a real game. You don't have 75 pitches in nine innings. You rack up the pitch count

Lost to the cubs again 3-2. Wasn't my fault though. 2nd inning their pitcher I forget his name comes up to hit with 2 outs runners on first and 2nd he hits a weak pop up that I would t even consider a pop up it was a low drifter anyone could catch especially a MLB player and Freddie Freeman misses it and the bases are loaded next at bat their lead off guy drives in 2 runs. Bad luck

Been messing around with franchises and trying to find a team I want to really roll with. Used the Braves and did some trading....... Dan Uggla and Medlin for Cano and Nova.....

Way you get good players is trading your top 50 prospects. I traded a top 50 pitcher for arencebia with the rays. Rays are deep in pitching so didnt really need him. Ol molina just cant hack it no more
