MLB 12 The Show

Well done well done.

I am rocking a Running fastball, splitter, circle change right now.

My first minor league season is about to wrap up. I'll post my season stats when I finish.

I've been playing this for 4hr straight...can't put the game down.

I'll put mine up too when i'm done as well. Trevor Big Daddy Jefferson Comin at ya.

I hate how I'm a CP yet I only had save opportunities up until May...now all I do is relief for 1 inning and then another guy comes in. I probably look like a terrible Closer because I barely have any saves.

Just wrapped up my rookie year in AA...

All I can say is WOW! My first game, I was the Tigers playing the Marlins. I lost 1-0, they had 6 hits and I had 4. In the 9th, I hit a ground rule double with Fielder, if it would not have hopped over the wall I would have tied. 2 outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd and I pop out. Pulse pitching is cool, analog hitting will take some getting used to. This game is bad ass.

Feel a bit guilty that I am hoping for a major injury to the Orioles 1st baseman so I can punch my ticket to the big leagues. :)

Through first month i batted .368 4hr 18 rbi and 6 walks 5ks

Halfway through second month im batting .308 4hr 19 rbi 7 ks 1 walk

I been majorly strugglin. Im not takin pitches and just hackin away eager to get a hit. I always guess pitch down low. When im right i press box to go power swing and i pop out

I don't ever guess pitch and I don't use contact out power hit (just use analog) and if I get a hold of a pitch up in the zone I will still rape it

I'm thinking about making another player so I can at least hit. What did you guys set the "skill sliders" to or whatever it is when you go from like power to contact hitting, speed to strength...etc.

I use analog to. But just discoverd you can click box to switch to power and x for back to normal contact

Depends on the position. Id say any pos. but C and 1B keep all of sliders even. Catcher and 1B id put strength over speed

What is the goal when I'm using classic controls for pitching (aka just pressing the different pitch buttons)? Do I want to let go of the button before my controller vibrates or when it vibrates?

What batting stance do you guys use? For some reason in every baseball game I've played I always use Andruw Jones' stance. It's one of my favorites.
