Had a great DD game last night. Was down 1-0 until I tied it in the 9th. Unfortunately they yet yard in the bottom of the 11th to win though. Ichiro speed tied it up for me....

Tried a bit of the diamond dynasty last night.....my team name is the key west greasy midgets......Its fun, but I think a majority of my time with this game is taken up by RTTS. Its just a great improved game from last year...even though 11 was pretty awesome

Got my ps3 surround headset in yesterday and it makes the show that much better. You can hear the ball poppin the leather every pitch. Felt like i was actually in the game.

I make every pitcher I face look like Walter effing Johnson and lose 1 0

As much as I played '11, I never once saw it rain. I did play in one game in AA in RTTS that was in the rain. It was sweet, very overcast and foggy. I went 0-4 in that game, just felt like I couldnt make good contact with the ball.

Some tips......always take the first pitch....then take your time during the rest of the at-bat. My average jumped exponentially after I started take my time at the plate and making it a goal to at least make the pitcher give me 4 pitches.

So true. Honestly, the success I have is when I am patient. I struggle when I start to have 4 pitch innings and crap. I have had some very, very good at bats, it just annoys me that it's nearly impossible to get a hit if you don't guess correctly.

The only thing that is missing is a pro team concept like FIFA. It would be cool to field all user team online with the RTTS players.

Also, how exactly do you manage money, players and what not on DD? I have only glanced at the instructions but they weren't incredibley helpful.

Me either. Gonna try to venture into it more this weekend. Thats right up smokes ally. I just dont have the patience to build my team up and rather not put much money into it. Once league starts up ill be busy with that and rtts. I always do a CF. turn baserunning oppertunities off. Just takes to much time.

What would be awesome... is to be able to do like, 3 or 4 RTTS with other guys online. Like, one RTTS is the pitcher, one is SS, one is CF, etc etc, and you're all the franchise in like the same organization, starting in AA together.
