MLB 10: The Show

i've heard a little from smokey, basically this is what i've gotten out of him. "it's not a huge jump but the catcher thing is fun and RTTS runs a lot smoother and faster" and that he's tried 2 online games and lost connection on both of them

but as jtrain pointed out to me, which i don't if i should believe it or not as it's hard to trust a man who not only loves trannies but very large hermaphrodite trannies, the connections are p2p rather than server based so maybe the chances of at least us getting online games in is good since we can make sure we're running as clean of a connection as possible

Only reason that I am asking is because I am really on the fence on whether or not to buy it. I go MLB2K10 last night and it has been a huge jump from last year(I know all of you hate 2K BB). So I guess I am just looking for a reason to spend 60 bones on another BB game. If it isnt that much different than last year, then I dont know if I will buy.

first off you have to spend $60 on a baseball game this year before you can spend another $60 on a baseball game

UPS truck was late at ol' Game Haven. Hoping they get it in this evening. Have to pick it up there b/c of money on my account there.

So, instead of playing a bit before the wife gets home, I took the opportunity to assemble a cabinet she bought and mount it on the wall. She'll be happy and I'll be able to start gaming a little early tonight.

I like your strategy, I use that as well myself. However, I prepared for today and the upcoming releases of BC2 and MLB, so I did all my wife loving duties yesterday and laid(no pun intended) it on pretty thick. So i should be in the clear for some good gaming tonite.:)

Now I would have gone that route, but I have a unique situation this week. Wife leaves town at 7am for business till Friday night. So, I didn't want to overdo the work today since I've got a multi-day kitchen pass starting tomorrow.

Don't need to be pulling my back with Opening Day coming up on my Road to the Show.

Nice work rosen. I'm logjammed at work, so the best I could do to free up time was scheduling my DOT physical for Saturday AM so i couldnt get hogtied into working

Just got my copy. I hope I stick with this one longer than 09, I sucked at it and traded it in within 2 weeks of buying it.

As far as I remember the game last season...This new game seems like an exact replica.

There are very few differences. One being batting practice prior to all games. Also, as we all knew a while back, they have changed the catcher position in Road to the Show.

Last years game was epic, so this should be good too ...But first impression of it is that its almost exactly the same.

i still suck at hitting and baserunning, 1-0 loss with 9 hits on my end.

I need lots of work at picking the ball up sooner out of the pitchers hand.

I'll trade my headset and 3 pieces of Orbit gum for your copy of The Show. Clearly, you are coming out better, but I'm willing to let it slide.

Okay guys...I am about to break something.

Everytime I turn on my PS3 and try to play this game it tells me I dont have enough free space on my hard drive.

Keep in mind....I have already loaded the F'ing game onto my PS3 and have played it. The only way I can get around it is to delete the game file and re install it, and that takes about 5 minutes to do....Any help would be great.

back to back HRs by youk and big papi in the 8th led the sox to a 6-3 win over train and the dodgers with beckett throwing a 13 K complete game. first game we played was spotty on the lag but really no problems but second game was flawless as far as lag goes. i effin love this game even if it is somewhat of a re-hash of last years. there are small improvements in the game that made a big difference for me.

Agree on the online, the only choppy times were at moments not affecting the game, not like last year where it would lag out on double play opportunities or freeze mid-pitch.

The only hesitation happens between the pitch and the catcher throwing back to the pitcher, I think this a lapse in the animation more than a lag in the game.

Also, i have decided that Fleetwood sees more Vagina than the typical operation sports user who has simmed 23 seasons to make sure the sim numbers are right.

And I'm not giving much credit to fleetwood here...
