According to the UT website, parking passes were $150.00 each for the 2014 season.. We park in G1 and have never paid $1000.00...

He's saying in the secondary market they go for $1,000, not that season ticket holders pay that much.

Personally I can't wait till my donor rank is high enough to get a G-10 spot. Can almost pay for my tickets by selling it each week.

Thanks! Parking is a privilege at UT and it took us several years to be able to park on campus.

With your nic, you an air traffic controller? My ex lives in Bartlett is a retired controller...

Yes I am. Work at ZME.

I know what you mean. Even when I was a student and lived on campus I had To park on the AG Campus most nights when I got home from work.

We've had season tickets for 7 years now and been off campus for all of them. Makes it easy getting out though.

My ex worked at the Center too.. Our son lives in Bartlett too.. best thing that came out of our marriage & nothing against ex..

It's easy getting out of G1 and onto Cumberland, now that we can turn left off of campus.. Lots easier than when we parked at Locust St. and Volunteer Hall, now that was a jam packed mess.

How long has he been retired?

I park at Locust St. It's really easy to get out of if you exit onto Locust St and not Walnut like the majority of the cars do.

Gosh ATC I can't recall when he retired but it's been a few years. Goodness we divorced in the late 70's and I continued to live in Oakhaven until I met my present husband and that was back in 87.. seems like only yesterday. I well remember our walking back and forth to Locust St., especially with a cast on my ankle when the temps were way over 90... oh the good times, LOL ... I almost passed out when we got to the gate.. :thud:
