Long story short, the family ended up getting a spot at the Circle Park Tennessee tailgate. However the spot didnt come with any parking. Any idea where I should be able to find a close spot to that location? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had my first experience with Circle Park against KY. GREAT venue. We drove there Saturday morning to unload our stuff then went to park the car (in G10). About 3 hours after the game (no traffic), I walked to get the car and drove it back to Circle Park to load our stuff.

Loading and unloading was easy because we did it before and after any traffic. We stay at a Hotel downtown.

Just park close enough so that you can walk to the car. If you take a bus to your car, it means that you are leaving too early instead of hanging out, watching TV and enjoying the victory.

I am selling a G-10 Pass for $110 if interested. Best spot in Knoxville, and they are going for $150 on craigslist. I just can't use it.

I have been fortunate to tailgate at Tailgate TN for the last 3 years. It was originally at the amphitheater beside the stacks. Circle park has been awesome.

Does anyone know if SECNation will be setting up in Circle Park like Gameday did? That would Prob move Tailgate TN and may affect where the OP wants to park

Ayres Hall.

Seems like a great Backdrop to use for the TV.

Greetings VOL fans. I am looking for a fun group that would let my wife and i tailgate before Saturdays game. I hate to be a tailgate whore. But we are coming from the St. Louis area and dont really know anyone. Just looking to hangout and have a great time with some great folks. Any advice or invites would be greatly appreciated. Semper Fi. And GBO.

Step 2 - Drive Semi
Step 3 - Profit

Does anyone know if Big Mama's Karaoke is still around?

I would offer to help with the tail gating, but often times we just float around ourselves.

Yeah, that's disgusting. I can't imagine any sane person paying $110 to park, when you could park a few blocks away for 1/4 that price, one mile away for free, or pay a cab 1/5th that for a couple of short rides.

$110 for G10 is good imo. Especially if you're setting up your tailgate there. If you just want a parking space and that's it I agree with you that there are cheaper places. I parked on Volunteer Blvd. last Saturday for free and walked over to Fiji Island to tailgate. Of course I wasn't hauling or setting up a tailgate either thankfully.
