They created an “athletics oversight committee” a week or so ago. That is likely what they’re referring to.
Considering what all she’s done for the school (the football program being on the up, their NIL program heading the right direction especially with in state recruiting, her having just gotten the university a $64 million donation in the last month), it was a move by the board that did not sit well with her / that she did not appreciate.
I believe UofA is her alma mater. Agree, an SEC school is better than Arizona but it sounds like walls were closing in on her a bit and best to bail out of there. At least she won't be forced to figure out what to do with their basketball program. That is a head scratcher.
