Personalizing this issue is stupid cause we will always side with those we love. The issue is do we hold women accountable like we do men for their actions or do we let them skate around personal responsibility because they have a vagina?

The white girl in this situation is in the wrong as much as Mixon. I said from the start he overreacted. But I will not overlook the fact the woman started it. And without her physical attack on Mixon she would have never been punched. You guys are the ones trying to hide from this fact.

They do say alcohol is a truth serum. I believe that when drunk the latent racism of white people (white women in particular) comes out. I had several experiences in college with white colleagues who would say stuff under the influence they would not dare say sober. Including once saying the N-word in my presence. Obviously I put a check on that immediately but it did give me glimpse into their mindset when they are not carefully parsing their views around me.

However, you seem to imply that its okay for a woman to hit a man unprovoked and that men should just deal with it.

Because race always matters. And almost everyone of these stories involves white women and black athletes. If I saw some examples of white athletes retaliating after black women attack them and saw the same irrational reaction from the largely white public, then I would not interject race into these debates. But so far all I've seen is mostly white people raising hell whenever one of these videos comes out and a black athlete hits a white woman AFTER the white woman hits him.

And if you are wondering, the reason you never see black women raising their hands at white athletes is because black women got some sense. They have 300 years of experience of white men raping them with impunity. They know white men have all the power. They know white men can do whatever they want to them and NO ONE will hold them accountable.
