Mixed feelings

I caan excuse the OL false starts because they played a heck of a game without Trey.
Its hard for me to hate on Jennings and Callaway too much for the UC fouls, but it showed this team wasnt discipled today.
Disappointed in Pruitt for settling at the half, and whether you blame him or the players in the 2nd, they got outdone in adjustments.
Also, maybe Warrior is good in coverage, but he absolutely sucks at tackling/pursuing.

You have the lead and get the ball 2nd half. 95% of all coaches would have done the same.

We looked good at times and not so good at other times. Guarantano is a beast. He makes good decisions and hangs in the pocket. He's not Peyton but he gives a chance to win. The defense, especially the run D, was poor tonight. We controlled the ball but could not make a play on D when it counts. We will win at least three of the next 4 and everyone will be happy

Wehave no idea if we have the right coach, right now I am 60-40 on him, he better get his game management skills sharpened or else this will be a quick 3 years (I still think he leaves after 2 to take a DC job in the NFL)

This is this the most articulate post I have read this evening...

We will win Charlotte and at least 2 of KY, MO, and Vandy.

Charlotte is a win, Vandy is a toss up ( depends on which Vol team shows up) MO and Kensucky will be butt cuttings if not careful.
Crazy **** is that next week the leg humppers and Mild Kats do battle to win the east. Say this with me now KENTUCKY has the chance to win the east next week. That ladies and gentlemen is the oddest ****ing thing to EVER say in SEC Football.

It has been a long time since I've seen a group of young men that were suppose to be intelligent enough to attend an institution of higher learning and yet be so blasted stupid in attitude and action. False starts, many, many, missed blocks and missed tackles. Then there was the dumba$$ unsportsman like penalties. As Dr. Phil says,"You can't fix stupid." At least I'll be busy deer hunting on Saturday for the next few weeks.

How would Dr Phil diagnose Pruitt? Oh, BTW, I mean the TV Phil...

MO is a loss for sure. We simply can't get pressure on any QB, and Lock will pick our defense apart. KY will be a loss if we can't play better run defense than we did tonight. Vandy is a toss up, but they have the potential to put 45 on us. In reality, we are not much better than the Razorbacks. Man, the truth hurts.

No way, UT will be Charlotte and maybe Vandy, Missouri and Kentucky will be losses
Why because they scored a combined 29 points. Have you seen Kentucky the last few weeks?!?! Absolute trash as far as the passing game goes. Missouri is a joke on defense and there offense stalls when playing power 5 competition. Some of y’all are so far stuck on the negative and refuse to take a step back to reality. Yes I realize TN has some huge work to do mainly the line of scrimmage but I also realize UK and Mizzou and not automatic losses either and that’s not biased opinion. Just how I see it.

We’ve got the right coach. We’ve not got enough of the right players. Muschamp pisses me off.

I’m not surprised we lost but we had that one won.
Dont know if we got the right coach or not but its pretty clear we dont have the right OC or OL coach. Anybody that can defend either of the 2 I would like to hear it. We have seen enough toss sweeps and screen passes to last 3 years worth of football. He can put all 4 plays on an index card. The defense is just embarrassing

I'll say it with you and then probably throw up. But given what I've seen to date I may not watch it. I don't think it'll be a good game and GA will wipe their azz with them. It might take a half after KY comes off their high.

Defense is Pruitt's specialty. If there was any group that should've been ready to play tonight it should've been defense. Sadly, our D played as badly as they've played all season. I can understand getting gashed against Alabama, but freaking SC? GTFO.

It wouldn't surprise me one iota if we came out flat against Charlotte next week.

I keep getting tricked. All in all, I just wasted about 15 hours of my life and a pile of cash going to Columbia. So over this team and this feeling year after year after year.

South Carolina deserved to win. Why, you ask? Their last 3 hires have been Lou Holtz, Steve Spurrier, and Will Muschamp. Ours have been Dooley, Butch, and Pruitt. Their university is obviously committed to winning. We’re just playing roulette hoping to get lucky.

Now children what I saw was encouraging. I see the team getting better and better under this coach and staff. I said four years to be top notch but I may have to change that to three. It's really bad we have fans still in wet diapers that can't see we are in good hands now. Grow up!

Totally disagree with jg being a beast. He misses wife open receivers and hold the ball way to long. He also almost always locks onto one receiver and he never attacks down field. I think they call plays down the field but he almost always immediately checks down. He's not a very good qb. I'm ready to see someone new back there

Kentucky is 7-1, their defense is much much better than UTs. Missouri scores an average of 35 points a game, Tennessee cannot stop anyone from scoring. UT should have won yesterday, the Oline played much better in my opinion, but the run defense was horrific. JG has moments where he is great and many others where he does not make a good decisive decision. Also, ingame coaching, Pruitt and his staff do not challenge plays (like the fumble yesterday) and with 49 seconds left in the 2nd quarter, they do not even try to get into field goal range, they just take a knee. So yes, Kentucky and Missouri are most likely losses.

Tennessee conservative offense brought USC back in the game..

They don't trust JG to make long throws. With good reason. He usually hangs on to the ball too long and takes a sack, and he obviously has a hard time reading a defense
