Players rally and hold secret meeting to vow and stand behind coach. While I love the leadership that Johnson and lathers are displaying, this usually means things within the athletic department aren't going so hot. Or, rumors are floating from within about you know what. Could this be "let's win one for the ol ball coach" talk starting to happen?

I would prefer Johnson and Lathers rally to tackle ball carriers on Saturdays. That would probably be more effective.

The players are not stupid. They know the coaching staff is in trouble and they know which players are busting their assignments as well as which are having bad attitudes. It's nothing more or less than that. The problem is they are facing Bama and then USCe, neither of which need to have players only meetings over missed assignments and bad attitudes.

Are u serious? It's to keep everyone focused and not listening to all the football team/Dooley hate from our stupid fans in the middle of the season.. It's our fans fault.. U think they don't see the message board chatter? U think they don't see the f'n rock on the news? Our fanbase sickens me honestly.. I assume most teams have fans like this, but I wish I could expect better from our fAns..

We know u do buddy.. I'm sure u are holding out hope for Gruden... Or Mike Ditka... Lol

Not really

I don't see Gruden as a real possibility at all. I think Hart would have to make him the highest paid coach in college football and I don't see him doing it.

Peterson
Patterson
Petrino
Holgerson
Gundy
Smart
Fulmer

Would be my list. Under no circumstances would I want to see Dooley back in 2013. I would rehire Fulmer before I would let Dooley flop any more.

I want none of Holgerson, Smart or Fulmer.

Kinda crazy all the fans that think they know the moves that need to be made
in a big time college football program yet probably can't even balance their own checkbook!! :whistling:

And you like the crappiest coach in Tennessee history. I hate how poorly coached this team we have. Were going to be predictable under Dooley. I would of never hired him because he was never a playcaller.
