"Missouri D-tackle Terry Beckner Jr. listed as out for Saturday's Tennessee game because of knee injury suffered vs BYU"

This is a major blow to their DLine. Injuries happen.

IT only takes one play to change the complexion of a game... just ask Georgia..

Charles Harris is the guy we really have to contain on the line. They have a linebacker putting up crazy numbers too.

Unfortunately, our track record indicates that whoever his back-up is will have a career day against us. Making back-ups look like All-Americans is what we seem to do best.

Here's to us breaking that tradition this weekend. Go Vols!

Aren't you just a ray of optimistic sunshine! I think your assessment is a little off.

That is only Quarterbacks and wide receivers that actually play every position on offense except the line.

Never seen it happen on D

Actually we havent done that nearly as much as some if you would like to believe. That joke is older than Betty Whites dinosaur. But hey, keep on believing that BS.

This sucks for Mizzou. I am sure he wanted to play in Pinkles last home game.

I hope I'm off -- mostly, we have done this with the other team's offensive players. Now that I think of it, I can't remember any backup defensive players doing this to us. I'm still ticked off about the SECCG in 2001. HA!

or ask us...

Tis true. I thought about that after I posted. I give Butch some credit though. With all the injuries we've had this year, we have been able to kinda "tread water". In Georgia's case, it was their star back. I think the guy that filled in for him still hit over a C spot on us but we came out on top. That Georgia game was brutal. Both sides lost some big players. But with all the stuff that has happened to us, we have still competed every game. We haven't been blown out by anyone this year. It's like Butch says... next man up.

He got hurt at the beginning of their Saturday game didn't he?

Their staff pretty much knew by the post game conference that it was fairly bad knee injury (they thought it looked like an MCL injury though).

We lost AJ before MU game last year and lost Curt this year both leaders for our D. We also have lost numerous players on both sides of the ball. It happens to every team some get hit harder with less depth to make up for it.

Dobbs has a slightly better chance of staying upright!

This hurts Mizzou a lot because they are playing a lot of young players and don't have they depth that they have had in years past.

They still have Kentrell Brothers at LB though.

"Beckner leads all Missouri interior defensive linemen with 27 tackles, including eight for a loss with three sacks. He also has two hurries, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup."

With all the injuries we've had I'll take it and not feel the least bit bad about it!

Listening to the sport radio shows in Nashville, they are predicting a win by Missouri this weekend. I don't understnd their reasoning. Missouri lost to Vandy, Ky,. Mississippi State and Florida this year.
It isn't like they are a really good team.
