stephens looked rough, inaccurate, and lacked rhythm

foster-decent, still lacks speed to make plays
hardesty- still running hard
creer- no reason he shouldn't start against bama

Stephens did nothing to indicate that he had really "progressed" much.

Foster has disappointed me all year. He just doesn't seem to have the burst and lacks the quick decision making required to be a dominant back.

Hardesty runs hard but didn't really shine.

Creer got the ball 12 (?) times in a row on the first smashmouth TD drive I've seen from UT in a long, long time. I really don't understand why he isn't atop the depth chart.

A positive: we played a much more "well-put-together" game with far fewer penalties. Very little shooting ourselves in the foot.

I thought the highlight of the day was Chavis made some halftime adjustments. And had the guys playin a little tighter on the recievers in the second half. I guess sitting up in the booth he can really see the wholes in that Mustang because they did not give as much cushion in the 2nd half.

Defense looked GREAT!!!!!!!
Offense wasn't as offensive as usual--mostly due to MSU getting tired.
We threw the usual 1 deep pass down field for a big game and never went back to it.
We did try a HB pass. It was a good play--rec should have caught it.
We need to bring that out against bama.
Stephens looked OK.

Chavis should have been in the booth all along. I guess the Boosters made Fulmer put him up there. If the Boosters keep making Fulmer do things he isn't comfortable with (like pulling Crompton, running Creer more), we might actually finish this season pretty well......

The defense really stepped up to the challenge. Of course I'm not too sure how big of a challenge it was. I mean, the qb I saw for MSU was a junior college/transfer walk on.:whistling:
