I actually did not mind Wrights performance today—he’s going to be a different player by November. It’s the mental part for him right now and being a freshman that just takes time. I am still very bullish on his future here.

Wright did show a burst a few times.

I would like to have Grey but Chandler is probably better off where he is. Neither are special..

That’s kinda the point of the thread but our fanbase is too blind to see the importance of depth.
I’m not sure any program outside of bama or a handful of other programs have their top two rb’s out and then rush for 300 yards

Those guys chose to leave. And I get why they did. But how is that on the current coaching staff?
Whoa...How did you interpret this as a knock on our coaches? I love our coaches. It’s nobody’s fault that they left. This thread is for everyone who downplayed the significance of losing our top 2 rushers.

Most every position is thin. We have 71 scholarship players. JH has had to Frankenstein his way to build a roster. Your post title and original post had no conversation of position depth mentioned. Does depth effect performance when your you’re down your 1st and 2nd backs? Absolutely. The implication of your thread was that the current roster players are inferior to the two that left and that we should somehow be upset by this. No one thinks otherwise. Chandler and Gray handled business on the field here. But we just don’t care about players that don’t want to play here and we don’t miss them.

I think this thread is cheap because you're comparing starters to current 2nd and mostly 3rd string guys. That's why you're getting the pushback
