Tiyon Evans may be better than Gray and Chandler. He looked great vs BG. Too bad he was out this week for Covid protocol. Could've happened to anyone.

What did Small do before halftime? If you don’t think depth matters I don’t know to tell you. The scoreboard doesn’t care about injuries. Fact is Evans is the only playmaker in that backfield
Wright will be very good. He is only a freshman snd jsut need more experience. We will get Evans back and everything will be ok. But positive note is that Hooker seems to have earned the right to be the QB now.

I like Evans but having 1 viable option the SEC is not good, as evidenced by today’s game.

I agree. And I think Wright end up improving every week. But I am wondering where Beckwith is at? People talk about Beckwith like he the next great running back at UT. People on this site literally comparing him to Derek Henry. If he is even remotely half as good as Henry why ain’t he playing?

We were using our 3rd string freshman running back. And no I DON’T MISS 2 GUYS WHO DiDN’T WANT TO BE HERE
Definitely no issue with Chandler. He left when Pruitt was seemingly safe and knew his carries were gonna be reduced.

I miss Evans. And Gray.

If Beckwith and/or Whitehead were ever going to see the field, they would have seen it in the second half today. They are not listed on the depth chart and clearly the coaches have no intention of putting them in a game.
