First drive of the first game I would love to see a RB (hopefully Lane) break off big run. It's been so long.

I'm anticipating a deeply religious experience.

Was thinking the same thing, really think we have an actual team for the first time since fulmer was let go.. Scared to say anything, figured it would turn into a bunch of flames coming from the negavols if I did though.

Not ready to make any real predictions on the season, but I have such a gut feeling that this will be a breakout year.

I predict the VOLS to be in the top 5 in avg receiving/passing yards per game in D-1. Even though the defensive fronts Tennessee will face are tough, Bray can get rid of the ball quickly and these receivers run. The receivers also have a good 4.5 inch height advantage over the average SEC db. I just hope we can keep the linebackers honest with the threat of a running game.

Should be fun to watch the vertical passing game this year.

Defense wins championships,,but the offense gets you there. I think we have a potent enough offense, and we finally have some quality/depth on defense. Going to be an exciting year. We will see some letdowns since we are still a young team, but nothing like the uk letdown. See us winning more than the "experts" predict but are still a year or two away from competing and beating the 'bammers.

Wonder if CJC has any 5 wide sets in his playbook?

No offense, but did you watch any of the games this year? Chaney is know for his passing attack. Almost every college coach has 5 wide sets. And Chaney has one of the best of em.

Were not young anymore more. That's an old excuse. If we don't win now, its because we can't.

Did everyone forget jaron toney? Let's not forget him! Hell see the field. Don't forget the Richardson fullback package either. And the 'pig' formation. We could be extremely dangerous this year. The only things we need is good play calling, team chemistry, a little luck, and everyone to believe. Someone else imagine a hail mary with rogers, hunter, patterson and croom. That would be amazing.

Toney did a good job when called on in a pinch... If he sees the field as a RB it better only be if we are up by 40 pts

4 wide set with Neal in the backfield, Bray puts him in motion to the wide side of the field forcing the coverage to shift and leaving CP or Pig on a linebacker streaking down the middle of the field.
