Miracle in Athens

With 2 Hail Marys in the last 19 sec this game should be named answered prayers

It reminds me of the NCAA basketball championship this past year. UNC hits a crazy three and then Villanova smoothly knocks down a three last second to crush all of the hope of UNC.

I was in a casino bar in Murphy, North Carolina with the majority of the people in it GA fans--very vocal fans who made a comment on every play. When they hit the bomb there was a lot of, "That's it, that showing 'em". The GA people were cheering, hugging each other, one guy slammed a bill on the bar and declared, "A round for all my guys."
We Tennessee few for the most part just started at the big screen, shocked, numb, and quietly praying for a miracle.

The GA people were still congratulating themselves when the miracle occurred. We all went crazy, and some of the GA people looked at the screen and yelled, "Whhhattt? That's not right."

And at that exact moment a gaggle of orange clad folks appeared at the bar entrance and from some feet away a single voice came through clear and echoing through the bar. "Rocky Top, you'll always be..."

I haven't cheered this much since 1998. I can hardly talk today. Go Vols!
I simply get an adrenaline rush every single time I see that bomb. Best throw of his career!

I yelled "TN just won' in the middle of a bunch of unbelieving GA fans in Dalton GA. It was priceless the Looks on their faces!

Relocated from marietta about a year ago. Is there somewhere fans watch the game like the alumni clubs in atl?

BldnOrngNAtl, I was about to post the same thing lol. I'm looking for a good place in the north Atlanta area to watch the Vols myself. I know there's a big alumni group that meets in Buckhead but I haven't met up with them yet. I'm not an alumni but I've been a fan since I was a teenager (Peyton's 2nd year). I have college friends, but they are all UGA fans.
