Mini helmet decals

I think with Fulmer in charge, traditional look and feel will be the norm.

I don't see CJP bucking Fulmer on something as mundane as uniform issues, plus he hasn't been around it long enough to have an opinion.

It's like, new house: let the spouse (CPF) pick out the carpet color and the drapes, I'm (CJP) just interested in making sure there is a engine lift and air compressor for the pneumatic tools in the garage.

I don't ever want helmet decals but if we ever do get them I think it should be this:

Well we tried the garbage can for turnovers, how'd that work out for us? Helmet stickers are a gimmick IMO just like the turnover chains at UGA and the U. I don't see a lot of value in them other getting tv crews something to shoot at during sideline celebrations.

Put a scratch n sniff turd decal for each loss...or perhaps a "Mangina" sticker for poor individual play.

Perhaps some negative motivation will propel the team to new heights!

If I remember correctly, the team got a "brick" for each win. It wasn't for individual achievement.

I knew they did something with brick decals but couldn't recall exactly. I still prefer the "clean" look myself.

I've always thought college teams that award small helmet decals for noteworthy achievements on the field (Ohio State with their buckeyes and UGA with their bones) was a pretty cool concept and something I'd like to see on Tennessee's helmets. Perhaps a musket mini ball? A small Power T?

I would only do it for truly individual awards. not everyone gets them, and no one can cover their helmets in it.

maybe SEC player of the week/position type thing.

I think Ut players returning to their lockers after a hard-fought game deserve a bunch of balloons, with colors representing their achievements on and off the field. Make them helium for an unforgettable post-game experience.
