Too bad you need a subscription to read those threads. They have plenty to say about it hereView attachment 390441
Here's another board that isn't behind a paywall. A lot of these guys seem cynical and think he might be good because they don't think Harbaugh can develop QBs.Too bad you need a subscription to read those threads.
Time will tell as he has Pitt and Florida in the first month of season. No; because Milton didn't get the job done.
Don't base what you see for a game against Bowling Green (one of, if not the worst team in college football).
I understand where you are coming from. We also may be able to sign more guys if they get rid of the 25 cap like was being talked about. So it will be interesting to see what happens with that. I don't know if the 85 will also be raised with the 25 cap. Truthfully even if we can just be allowed to sign enough to get to 85 we can address those needs through the portal and our signing class. Just a different take. It's a matter of team needs. Heupel knew one of the QBs would leave and there was talk here pre-Milton that Maurer and/or Bailey would leave if Salter and Hooker lit it up in camp.
There's thin areas on this team and I'm not sure 4 QBs and a thinner than you'd like O Line (Heupel's words, not mine) and some deficit areas on defense also makes sense.
They would be right. Not a single QB at Michigan has been good under HarbaughHere's another board that isn't behind a paywall. A lot of these guys seem cynical and think he might be good because they don't think Harbaugh can develop QBs.
milton named starter for vols | mgoblog
He won’t transfer to another SEC school. Maybe Georgia Tech that’s closer to home. Would worry about thatBailey will not be here to get his shot next year or the year after if he is not starting this year. He will transfer and I would not blame him at all. The bad news is he will probably transfer to another SEC school and he will light us up when we play against him.
Things haven't turned out at Michigan, but he's not a bad coach. In FACT, he's a good coach. Turned Stanford around and into a powerhouse while he was there. Was an immediate success with the 49ers. Took them to a Super Bowl. Actually better than anything we've seen on the Hill in over 20 yearsCause Jim Harbaugh is a bad coach
First, I'd like to see Bailey get some quality snaps (with most of the starters still in) against BG and that should be possible unless Heupel calls off the dogs early. It'd be good for the young man to get some time in Neyland to shine..... he's earned it. He could've hit the portal when "the herd" was leaving.I understand where you are coming from. I wasn't thinking of the NCAA with my post but you may be on to something with that view. It is certainly possible. We all know what we would tell the NCAA. Not sure the admin will nut up though.First, I'd like to see Bailey get some quality snaps (with most of the starters still in) against BG and that should be possible unless Heupel calls off the dogs early. It's unpopular here but I'm concerned the NCAA might ding us a few scholarships next year or the year after. That makes me look hard at where we have depth and need depth.
I DON'T want Bailey or Jackson to leave but I worry about the NCAA making our choices difficult.
Bailey will be fine, still very young with 5 years available.Jarrett was cornbread muse. He could do no wrong. Bailey is plenty good. He will play and play well this year.
