Milton the next Tim Tebow?

Yup. They look very similar AND they're both from Florida.

Much better arm and throwing motion than Tebow.

Now all Milton has to do is end his career as the SEC's all-time leader in career passing efficiency (170.8), completion percentage (67.1%), passing touchdown to interception ratio (5.5 to 1), rushing yards by a quarterback (2947), and rushing touchdowns (any position).

Should be no problem being that his arm and throwing motion is so much better.

More similar to Cam Newton, IMO

Agreed, at 6' 5" and 245, I thought of CN right away. That's a big boy. If he fits this scheme better than Mich, and he continues to develop, I think we may have a big surprise at QB this year. Time to see the best step up and bring us back from the dead, (finally).

Doesn’t Florida have there own message boards? You could probably start a thread on how you would like to sniff Tebows jock strap over there, and get some people to agree with you.

Only an abject idiot doesn't recognize that Tebow's throwing motion prevented him from being a serious NFL QB. Tebow had velocity after "all that"... but Tebow needing "all that" makes Milton's arm stronger.

Nowhere by the way did I claim that Milton was as good at all the other things that make a QB great or that he was a comparable runner.... nor is he likely surrounded by the kind of talent Tebow was. And for all that greatness... UF scored 26 ppg vs the SEC in his Sr year.

I happen to like the guy because of his character and testimony. But he was an "unusual" QB. I don't know if Meyer could have corrected his throwing motion or not. But he did him a disservice by not trying.

This thread wouldn't exist or any of the others if we had a guy in the room compared to Tebow in all respect. He had intangibles that you can't teach and was as determined as anyone. I don"t necessarily agree Tebow was a bad Nfl qb. He was a playoff qb. To be passed by a legendary guy in Peyton, then to be released. Yes his motion and arm strength could be better but so could most everyone. Milton may have a really good arm, but he isn't on the same level in any other category and we don't have anyone that is. Nobody else does either. I would say the same about Cam as far as not having a guy of his caliber and to me personally Tebow was better than Cam.
