Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

Catholic Charities Draws Fire Over Video Coaching Illegal Migrants On How To Duck ICE Workplace Probes

A Catholic charity that receives billions in government funding has stirred controversy for a video teaching migrants in the country illegally how to evade US immigration law.

In the video, distributed by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Refugee & Immigration Services Program, immigration attorney Barbara Graham outlines step-by-step instructions for how migrants can thwart authorities conducting lawful investigations at their workplace.

She further suggested that illegal immigrants should stonewall authorities by refusing to answer questions including where they were born or how they got into the US.

According to a ProPublica audit of Virginia-based Catholic Charities USA’s finances, the 114-year-old organization took in just shy of $2 million in federal grants in 2021.

In 2010, the group’s scores of local affiliates were taking in a total of nearly $2.9 billion annually from the government — representing about 62% of its $4.67 billion annual revenue, the New York Times wrote at the time.

The organization said 638,000 people have received immigration help from one of the group’s 119 affiliates.

In the legal advice video, Graham offered the tip that illegal immigrants being questioned by authorities can simply “refuse to show identify documents,” refuse to say what country they are from and refuse to sign any paperwork without first demanding a pro-bono attorney.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) called for Catholic Charities USA to be defunded in a post on X in which he flagged DOGE, President Trump’s newly minted Department of Government Efficiency.

In a follow-up statement to The Post, Burchett took aim at the charitable group for playing politics on the immigrant crisis.

“These nongovernmental organizations and Catholic charities have pushed a mind-blowing number of illegals into our country over the past four years. It’s happening on both sides of the border. They’re using your tax dollars, and they’re not doing anybody any favors,” he said.

He added: “Our priority should be finding the 300,000-plus kids these NGOs and Catholic charities lost, not giving legal advice to people who broke the law and are inside the US illegally.”

The reaction on X was also swift, with many users excoriating the humanitarian group for wading into politics.

Why is the US Government giving money to a Catholic Charity in the first place? The same people probably for this are also the same ones that railed against tax dollars going to private schools.

I highly doubt anyone other than you actually gives a flying fig how they get out of this country as long as they leave and don't come back. The means of transportation mean nothing.

Then why did Trump make such a big deal of claiming that the Colombians had agreed to let us transport in a manner we saw fit?

You can't have it both ways.

Trump DOJ Files New Charges Against Illegal Immigrant Arrested in Nashville Prostitution Bust

The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a new charge against one of the five illegal immigrants who were arrested in Nashville as part of a human trafficking operation, accusing 28-year-old Elmer Humberto Aparicio Castillo on Friday of “unlawful possession of a firearm by an illegal alien.”

A DOJ press release confirmed that Aparicio Castillo (pictured above), “is unlawfully present in the United States with a criminal history related to immigration offenses.”

After the arrests were made, Aaron said in a press conference that a human trafficking investigation led to a joint operation between MNPD, HSI, the Tennessee bureau of Investigation (TBI), and the FBI, where law enforcement discovered what the spokesman described as a five-acre property with a building modified for use as a brothel.

I agree with that.

My point was that the claim of the Trump administration that the Colombians capitulated to every demand is apparently not true. Either the US planes have to carry the immigrants in a particular fashion (not shackled) or the Colombians will send their own plane to get them.

I get that Trump's fly-off-the-handle moment here has the MAGAs thumping their chests, but the details are simply not what Trump claims them to be.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 please don’t stop

I sense you're struggling.

LG trying to find something negative with Trump's strategy of rounding up criminal illegal migrants and sending them home.
