Miles is now staying?

He might want to rethink that. He won't be so popular down there after the Vols kick the crap out of his team's ass starting in about 3 hours.

Man, ESPN's "inside sources" are slipping a bit here lately....if this latest story turns out to be true. After all the Saban buffoonery, who knows what the truth is.:dunno:

Miles reached a contract extension with LSU a multi year deal. Press conference at 12:30.

LSU is the better job, I never understood why everyone thought he would want the Michigan job. He's finished top 10 every year at LSU, Michigan would be a rebuilding job.

I don't think CFB has ever seen such a crazy year, and its not over yet!

I was at the SECCG press conference yesterday, and his attitude and body language told a different story. I would have bet you money yesterday that he was done. We will see. Heck we spent all day talking about the Tubberville rumors. Was at the FanFare all day broadcasting and not once talked about the Championship game. Carousel is much more important I guess.

Michigan rebuilding?

Carr hates Miles, he'd never let him become the head coach. Also all the current assistants don't want him cause they know they all are about to get fired. AKA, if Michigan hired Miles the program is about to get a kick in the ass. Which, in my opinion, is what it needs.

Well - I really think Les is screwing up big time here if Michigan really wanted him. That's the opportunity of a life time to go back and coach for your alma mater... can't believe he's passing it up because it's very likely he won't ever get a shot at the UM job agian.

And Michigan is the easier job. Easier schedule = more NCG appearances and easier to win the conference. He could have also used Louisiana as a recruiting hot bed since he had been in LSU for a quite a bit of time.

uhhhhhh....pass the pipe...

LSU has more in-state talent, is in a better conference, has better athletes, and the program has been a top 10 program since Miles took over.

Michigan on the other hand, is coming off a down year. Not to mention, I'd rather live in La then Michigan. Michigan has some cold winters.

He's a moron. That press conference was embarrassing.

I'm interested in hearing from Herbstreit now.

After hearing that press conference......I think hes a douche....

How's that? He had to address the issue because of ESPN's fumble and he was mad about it. I don't blame him.
