Miles-Helfrich-Shoop

I'm sorry but I don't understand the obsession with Shoop, extremely underwhelming performance this year. Penn st on the other hand has improved without him.

Shoop is he real deal, he just needs to bring in his own guys.

Butch has to take the handcuffs off. If Shoop leaves he will be successful wherever he goes and I guarantee there are plenty of teams that want him.

I would take Miles every day of the week and twice on Saturday.

Imagine how much he'd love our grass!!!!

It has been reported that Miles would be interested.

In what? Personally, I don't want Miles within a million miles of UT football. He was a very good recruiter in a talent loaded state, and a mediocre to poor coach. He adds basically nothing in a place like UT.

Yo moron. Our team would be fine minus injuries. Stop with the we need a new coach crap.

With proper coaching and S&C.... there would likely be less injuries. This isn't a one year anomaly. Jones has had higher than average injuries in each of the last 3 years.

If Helfrich comes here then you know Butch is going to have one foot out the door all next year. The only reason a guy like Helfrich comes in is for the MONEY GRAB. See Kiffin's staff 2009- probably the slimiest staff you will ever see. Was it a good staff? Yes, but that entire staff was there for the money and not for Tennessee. Thus the results- one year here, left the university IN JANUARY, left us with plenty of recruiting violations, absolutely horrendous recruiting class (35% retention after year 1, as I recall), etc.

If this is Butch's answer then we are in for a rough 2017, I think.

OK, boys and girls, Hart, the AD who hired Butch Jones is marking time until his retirement. He is not going to make a change in his final months of tenure. The new Chancellor isn't going to give any thought to the situation until the new AD is prepared to discuss it. Barring unforeseeable events, Butch Jones is going to be HC of the Vols in 2017.

Now, if you are intent upon indulging in flights of fancy, do so with the sober acknowledgement that they are just that.
