That's what I'm thinking. Was hoping he was jumping on the jet. Sun going down w/o commitment usually works in favor of the incumbent and what Mama says.

However, I'm also thinking Peyton not touching this thing and not coming into the frey, unless they've already gotten towards a pretty serious level of discussions. He doesn't want to get the stench of this blundered search on him. So, it may happen.

They just gave him a new contract this year with his salary increasing $125k per year.
