Also like hearing about tailor fitting the system to the players and not vice versa. Ole' Dave Clawson could have learned about that one...

I listened to Crompton's inview on the same site. Work like heck and watch film after he was asked about the interception.

I can assure you many 2010 recruits are paying attention. I can assure Tomlin sold a few recruits for UT this weekend. He talked to a couple of them. I was at the coaching clinic Thur-Sat. Tomlin told a few recruits. They needed to come to UT. If, they wanted to have the best chance to get to the next level. Tomlin also is very high on Berry, no surprise.

wow, if we're bringing class acts and super bowl champs like tomlin into the fold then we must be doing something right. any recruit that he talked to this weekend should have a hardtime going anywhere else

Tomlin sure looked good in that TN jacket. This is big time positive exposure for the program.

As much as I hate the Steelers, Tomlin is a class act and the program benefits from this greatly. Go Vols!!!

That was great to listen to....Defensive recruits have to be drooling over the thought of playing for Monte...Like Tomlin said, Monte's defense is always evolving...He WILL make it happen...Damn that fires me up!

CMT's comments are impressive. The offense was not impressive at all. They need to secure the ball!!!!!

This is the first I have heard Tomlin speak for any length. Very impressed with him...he seems very intense and I bet he squeezes every ounce of motivation from his players.

This. I hate the Steelers but would love for Tomlin to coach any of the football teams that I root for (Vols, Colts).
Our coaching staff's connections and NFL-level experience is greater than most realize. They will expect alot from our players and it will be noticable immediately.

The super bowl champs coach learned under our defensive coordinator, that in itself carry's a lot of weight.

It was a great little interview. Just makes you proud that Monte is on our team.
