Wow...Did anyone see the Mike Singletary interview on the Post Game Show today...Talk about sending a message. If you have the ability to do that on the pro level can you imagine that spirit and attitude on college players.

I'm not making yet another push (or rumor) as a new coach coming to the vols, just wanting to see that same attitude in our Vols.

I saw that and told my wife that Tennessee could use a coach like him.

Yeah, and i loved Howie Long's comment. "if you wondered why the Bears were so good on defense, thats why" Leadership in action. We need someone with the same type of attitude.

I didnt get to see it. I did see sabans reaction to that last pass interfence call that bama had. He did try and blame the refs or anything. He let that player have it. Ut is in desperate need of someone to get control of this team. Someone to instill some discipline.

that's exactly the kind of guy we need. geez

Amen, brother. This team needs a whole lot of what Reverend Mike is preaching. Do you think his players would be laughing on the sidelines during yet another blowout by a rival?

Mike Singletary commanded the same type of respect from his teammates as a certain former UT linebacker. This type of leadership is very rare and even harder to find on the game field, the practice field or the classroom. I truly hope to see some discipline instilled in our Vols in the very near future.
