Mike Norvell is the guy we need

Norvell is a very good coach. I go to several Memphis games a year and I have watched him on the sidelines and keep up with things. They are very thin on defense with at least 3 starting DL out for the year. Several freshmen starting on defense. That's the problem with the defense. It is really remarkable what he has done with all the youth and walk ons. He is a top notch recruiter also.
Having said all of that he will not be Tennessee's coach. There are a couple places he could end up but Memphis is about to offer him a new contract making him the highest paid non P5 coach

If he had a defense as good as his offense, he would be very, very, very difficult to beat.....would easily be the best college team in the state.
