Mike leach will be firmly committed to the pass game.... Hiwever if you wanna get a feel for hat he is thinking on the running game front pay attention to his OL coaching hire.... OL coach tell you a lot about what there philosiphy will be about running the football.

I expect little to change. He currently sits at around a 3.5:1 ratio pass to run, while Saban is at about a 2:1 ratio if you exclude QB carries.

Get this man a Defensive Coordinator and watch Leach go to work on this offense... with the right staff, he may knock it out of the park

I would prefer a Kendall Briles offense over a Mike Leach offense. If that means Lane as HC so be it.

So, in 16 years of coaching, he just needed a defensive coordinator to get over the hump? Then why didn't he get one before now?

Did you see his last game? His offense was shutout until garbage time. Why wouldn't we expect similar results when he faces the best defenses in the SEC?

It would be very interesting to see here because I'm not sure the SEC has seen that and with a legitimate SEC caliber roster it could be a phenomenon. You might even see it become a trend until teams learn to defend it.

I do feel like he'd run the ball a tad more than he does.

no he won't. he is entertaining he won't be winning on the level UT should be at, but it should be better than Botch Jones

He's one of the pioneers of the Air-Raid offence, would be a better hire than
the last coach with a deeper football resume, who knows - he may run the ball
more than others may think

SEC defenses are not built to stop his offense. And with the type of receivers and quarterbacks Tennessee has historically been able to recruit in the last 30 years, he will be nearly unstoppable on offense. It's just a matter if he can keep his defense off the field long enough to win, which is seriously questionable.

Either way, make this man an offer he can't refuse!!
