Dude. Go get your testosterone checked. Seriously.

This guy has his QBs regularly set NCAA records. If you cant stand to hear bad words. Don’t play football or join the military because this is how they talk to you.

Battered Vol Syndrome. ^^^^^^^. You missed the point einstein. It is about what the current generation if players want to be treated. If you think this generation of players will accept this then you need dont have a clue about these kids

No Wonder why Leach can't recruit. What parent of a superstar if they had other options would send their child to this guy to play football. It is a sad day for our beloved program. Our goal is mediocrity and winning 7-9 games a year for the next 3-5 years until we fire Leach and try all over again. Leach is not a good fit at TN. TN's program stands for everything that Leach doesn't stand for. Regardless of the head coach, it is time to get TN folks into the position of Chancellor and AD. This coaching search has focused on the light on just how destructive these two folks are for UT football.

I echo the words of Mike Leach......."**** that and **** you"

I love this dude. Some have posted videos of his eccentric, laid back, funny personality, but this video shows you the football coach and his very intense side. Watch this and tell me you wouldn’t want him as coach...

Language warning...

That is awesome! This is the kinda fire and accountability you expect from a head coach at a major program! C'mon down coach Leach! Sadly, Currie will mess this one up as well.

YES I totally agree.......UT Football has become a JOKE
Why would we not want a JOKE as a Coach.
Very fitting end to the debacle......

I'd even forgive Currie if Leach is hired. Would just chalk it up to "learning to be an AD in the SEC."

Show some respect. Act like you have been here before. I bet you are a millenial. This^^^^^ is what every parent wants to hear from their coach

Wait so you bet he is a millenial but has no idea what this generation of recruits would think? Seems legit. Get back to us after a couple of recruiting classes.

The man has standards and expectations he expects his players to meet, and I like that.

He's never had a team as talented as our "Champions of Life" last year. I'd like to see what Leach could have done with that team.

Leach would have likely had them pushing for the playoffs because that team had all the tools. Just lacked accountability.

When Bob STOOPS hired Leach as his choice to be O.C. at OU he said that while the D.C. at Florida under the old ball Coach, the hardest O to defend was Beach's at Kentucky. Leach is a Hal Mumme disciple. He is also a tremendous QB coach and judge of QB talent. When he joined our staff he knew we had no QB on our roster who could run his O. He found an unknown QB at Snow J.C. in Utah and that QB, Josh Gruel, led us the N.C. Leach will need to hire a great D.C. but he is an O genius and his personality is quirky in a good way. OU fans still love the guy. In fact, he recruited and coached our current HC. Lincoln Riley.

Bruce Feldman tweeted : Twitter

That states #Tennessee coaching search update: Source tells me the meeting with Mike Leach went very well. And... stay tuned.

Considering Feldman and Leach wrote a book together I bet this is more than just spit balling.

It will be fun having Mike Leach in the SEC. Solid hire if our AD can finally finish!

Feldman reporting gets me excited but I'm not buying into it being a done deal until its announced. Ideally Currie would have him hired before the SEC title game.

So can we have him and the team show up at the stadium on a large pirate ship on the river and start the vol walk from the vol navy?

Man if they signed him today, you better believe SEC would have him on as a guest tomorrow at the SEC title game.

Now that would be awesome
